Doctoral Candidate – Industrial/Organizational Psychology
 

Welcome!

I am a doctoral candidate in the Industrial/Organizational (I/O) program at Rice University in Houston, TX. I work with Dr. Mikki Hebl on research related to inclusion, diversity, and discrimination in the workplace. My primary research interests include gender issues in the workplace, the importance of social support and mentoring on career advancement, voluntary turnover, and the workplace experiences of stigmatized individuals. My research focuses on understanding and remediating subtle biases.

I earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA in Psychology and Economics/Business in 2007 and earned a Master of Arts degree from Rice University in 2011.
